Workshops

Our members love the opportunity to work directly with youth and give back to the Missouri 4-H program.

Our workshops emphasize youth-and-adult partnerships and include topics such as leadership, teambuilding with pool noodles, public speaking, understanding disabilities, leadership, and communications. Workshops are very flexible and can be adapted for any size or age of group at a county, regional or state event.

Check back often as we continue to group and change our workshops.  If you don’t find the workshop topic you want, contact us and we can create a custom session to meet your needs.

Contact us at mizzou4h@gmail.com to schedule a workshop at your next event!

How to Be...
In this hands-on and fun workshop, you will try-out “how to be” in different situations.  Meet new friends by shaking hands and making introductions.  Get involved in activities that help us think about how our actions affect others and what meanings different actions can convey.  We’ll wrap-up by showing how to be thankful.

World Cafe
Consider for a moment the importance of conversation. Virtually every action we take is directed by discussion.  Between individuals and within our organizations, we generate meaning as a result of the quality of our conversations. In fact, we create our world and its future by connecting with each other, sharing knowledge and know-how, and building relationships – all through the process of collaborative conversation.
